What is EMPAC?

Employee Assistance Consultants (EMPAC) is a not-for-profit Employee Assistance Program. As an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), EMPAC assists in the early identification and resolution of productivity problems associated with employees who are impaired or likely to be impaired by behavioral problems. Those problems include, but are not limited to: health, marital, family, financial, alcohol, drug, legal, emotional, stress, or other behavioral problems with may adversely affect employee job performance.

EMPAC is governed by a Consortium, which consists of numerous companies of varying sizes, serving thousands of employees and their families nationwide. A 12-member Board of Directors, elected each year from participating companies, governs the Consortium. It employs a Director who functions as Chief Executive Officer, manages the staff and implements board-approved programs and budgets.
